replace missing teeth ...
Fixed bridges have been the standard method of replacing missing teeth for
many years. When a tooth, or teeth, is lost and the resulting space
is bordered on each side with a strong supporting tooth then a fixed bridge
just might be the method of choice for replacement. Essentially a fixed
bridge consists of a crown type restoration on each side with a pontic (false
tooth) attached in the middle. This is then cemented permanently onto
the adjacent teeth.
